This week American Moroccan Alliance and Université Mohammed Premier, Oujda signed a memorandum of agreement to facilitate several exciting new initiatives. Dr. Ahmed YANOURI, Founder and Executive Director of AMA and Dr. Yassine ZARHLOULE, President of UMP exchanged their mutual dedication to form a fruitful educational partnership between the US and Morocco. We are proud to partner with the university in these many areas of cooperation and we endeavor to implement our mutual objectives including scientific research and exchange of knowledge in various areas of common interest. We hope to strengthen this partnership at all levels of cultural, humanitarian and economic ventures through:
Conducting studies and research on peaceful coexistence
Organizing joint scientific and cultural activities
Preserving culture and cultural identity
Exploring student grants
Facilitating students' access to U.S. universities
Our projects include:
Spearheading a partnership agreement between the UMP and ASF International Medical School using the American Moroccan competencies networks.
Establishing a partnership between the UMP Medical School and University of Utah School of Medicine in the USA.
Facilitating a partnership between the university and SMU Tower Center for Political Studies.
AMA and UMP are organizing a conference on immigration in collaboration with Institut national d’études démographiques (INED) Paris, France.
At AMA, we work to develop citizen awareness using education, virtual and in-country exchanges, and collaborative international business development as our connection points. We aim to inspire community involvement and understanding by encouraging others to learn more about themselves, their perspectives on global issues and concerns, and to elevate understanding that cultural sensitivity is the key to successful partnerships.
We are honored to share this new partnership with Université Mohammed Premier.
